Shujaa means hero — more specifically, the warrior. In Maasai tradition, red is the colour of courage and unity; it is the cloth worn by those who stand in front. This belt draws on that lineage. Crimson and midnight blue hold a centre of bone-white diamonds, the geometry of a shield carried into something you wear every day.
